Anika - Steal The Crowd

We'd like to introduce you to Pop/Crossover recording artist, Anika's new release, "Steal The Crowd" on Optimist Records.
Hi, I'm Anika. I'm 17 years old and senior in high school. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC.
I grew up listening to a variety of genres from Bollywood to 80s rock and pop music. After learning how to play guitar, piano, and ukulele, I started writing music when I was 14 years old.
During quarantine, I wrote and recorded a 2000s inspired pop album with the producer J-Stylz from the Grammy award winning RnB group, Blackstreet. The Vintage Vice EP is set to release in the Spring of 2021.
I currently write within different genres with a focus on Electropop, drawing inspiration from Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Melanie Martinez, Adele, and BORNS.
