Jonathan Luke - D Luscious (2013 Remixes)
- Published in New Music Reviews
Jonathan Luke is back with a brand new group of hot dance remixes of "D Luscious" on Royal Lush Music.
We've been working with Jonathan Luke for the past year or more & our DJs are just ranting about their crowds loving his music. With the success of hits like "Reason", "Bangin", Move Me", "Love On Me" & the Klubjumper's remixes of "D Luscious" early last year, Jonathan made contact with some other top remixer/producers like Funk3d & Keith Kemper to take "D Luscious" to the next level for more DJs, clubs, mixshows & radio stations around the globe. These new remixes & remastered Klubjumpers' mixes are even hotter club mixes that range between Electro to a Progressive House flavor, running around 128 bpm. You will have no problem packing your dancefloors throughout the night when spinning this hit project. Mixshow DJs will want to get this upgraded dance project in their mix. Be ready for your phone line to light up, asking "who is this"? If you haven't heard of Jonathan Luke before & like dance music, then it's time to make that connection. Don't forget to check out the remixes below & please leave a comment so Jonathan will know your thoughts.
Bio
Jonathan Luke is one of the most exciting emerging performers and writers in American dance music. The 6’ 3” former painter’s passionate, breathy vocals and throbbing, layered production has endeared him to the hardcore club set and the hippest underground DJs and musicians in the industry today. His “Joy Toy” was a 2010 nominee for the Out Music Awards’ Best Dance Song—and the video “ The Bird Has Flown” , which Jonathan also edited and co/directed, was a fan favorite on the Logo network’s NewNowNext PopLab in Nov. 2011. His tracks have also proven popular among buzzy filmmakers, turning up on the soundtracks of award-winning shorts and in the trailer for the cult-smash Japanese anime, Gilgamesh, a highlight of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. His latest single, D’ Luscious, is now poised for radio and club play, as its darkly sexy video cues up at cool cable TV outfits. An accomplished songwriter, Jonathon is a dance musician’s musician, having collaborated with the world’s most inventive DJs, from Cairo to California. And his original songs—he’s written dozens—have been recorded by the likes of “Rhythm Is a Dancer” diva Thea Austin (recorded Jonathan’s song “BIG MUSCLE – Gotta Have it”), Thea is a Billboard chart-topper universally regarded among the world’s top dance-music artists. “Dissonance” is a film that Jonathan’s music set the mood for in France @ Cannes Film Festival in May 2012. Jonathan’s musical interests are wide-ranging. He grew up singing in a traveling country band, sort of South Texas’ answer to the Partridge Family. And he also writes and records sophisticated ballads a writer from Houston magazine described as “technically astonishing studies in sexuality and raw emotion.” But dance music, with its primal edge and upbeat energy, continues to be his primary focus. “As a dance artist,” he says, “I have the power to influence the way people feel.” A graduate of the Houston School for the Performing and Visual Arts—Beyoncé was a schoolmate at H-Town’s version of the Fame high school—Jonathan lives and works in a home studio the city’s hip Heights neighborhood. His interests beyond music include acting and gourmet cooking.Booking - 832-563-7661
