Born and raised in Southern California, Krys Justice has lived the ups and downs of life accompanied by the rich soundtracks of his own creation. And the release of the JUST PLAY album in 2014 follows the success of JUGGERNAUT, that spawned two hits that held for ten weeks the Top 20 of the USA National Dance Chart for clubs across the country. Usher, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne, Kesha, Black Eyed Peas, Brtiney Spears, Taio Cruz, Katy Perry... all artists alongside Krys in the club chart Top 20, and now his sights are on #1.

JUST PLAY: Who doesn’t want to?

It’s a fitting album title for a compilation two years in the making of infectious dance hits, club thumpers and the urban side of Krys that’s as much a part of him as music is in his DNA.

Just Play’s first single, Get Up and Dance, released in November 2013 makes you want to do just what its title says. Put It In, the second single set for release in December 2014, is an urban beat exploring what happens after the clubs close and partiers still have Time of Their Lives, the third single releasing January 2014, stuck in their heads. Bad Chick Bad Whip might come before or after a Love/Hate Relationship – that could play out either way! Rounding out the album are tracks including Calvin Harris at Tomorrowland bound to be a house hit, Follow Me and Take My Breath Away, inspired by that special someone who just does that to us.

Always fast, strong and focused, Krys grew up in San Diego, California, best known for his athletic abilities and being a soccer all-star. But sports weren’t all he played--bass guitar, saxophone and 10 other instruments plus two summers at the Jazz school at Stanford University were also a big part of who he was. And since then Justice’s production skills have soared with his now being head producer at a multimillion dollar recording studio, among the finest in Southern California that’s seen Boys II Men, Jewel, The Wanted and even Lil Wayne recently roaming its halls.

"All my songs are drawn from my own experience, but they're part of who I am and I want my fans to know me," Krys says. "Tracks like Time of Our Lives and Get Up and Dance are really about celebrating that I think we all can use more of. And the urban and house tracks are really just reflections of what’s been inspired in my producing these days. I think the Juggernaut album was more personal and the songs on Just Play are too, but definitely in a different way. They’re all a reflection of who I am and an outlet for me, and always the kind of music I like to hear myself when I go out or on the radio. “

Krys grew up listening to pop, hip hop, rock and rap, but the music that moved him most was from the original Motown and classic R&B movement. Always an admirer of the harmonies and hooks of that era’s sound, Krys is inspired by the courage of its stars who broke new ground musically and culturally.

Just Play, the album, will be released by Over the Wall Records in February 2014, with singles Get Up and Dance, Put It In, and Time of Our Lives releasing in November ’13, December ’13 and January ’14, respectively.
