Bio - Tony Kastle is an American songwriter, producer, and recording artist who self- released his debut promo single ‘Upside Down’ on the KMG label in 2019 off the new forthcoming EP The Tony Kastle Experience. Raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Tony has always loved and gravitated to music and writing poetry since as a kid. He learned to play the clarinet and saxophone in middle school band, then later taught himself to play the drums and keyboard as he became more and more engrossed in Hip Hop, R&B and music in general.
Tony writes and produces a majority of his own music, mostly feel good party and dance themed songs with catchy hooks, hip hop anthem hits with universal appeal using vivid lyrical imagery. “Words have power and should inspire or at least tell a compelling, interesting story,” he says. His sound is similar to The Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, Outkast, and Flo- Rida with in the Hiphop, Hip-Pop, R & B, and EDM music genres. Using melodic sounds, deep basslines, along with thumping beats, Tony Kastle found a niche in the fusion of genres from Hip Hop to EDM to rock. “I play by ear and feel. My body tells my mind what to do. The energy has to be real,” he notes. His favorite producers are Dr. Dre, “he can produce everything,” Pharrell and Timbaland among others.
Collaborations with other producers, and artists is definitely a future goal and on the horizon for this talented musician. The New full length debut album featuring other up and coming recordings artists and producers is scheduled to be released in early 2021.
