Kenzell Jones, the artist commonly known as KJ JoAnZ, is making a name for himself. Based in Rockford, Illinois, his music is already buzzing across the nation. Multi-talented, he grew up around music and different instruments. Starting very young, he enrolled in the middle school and high school concert band. Over the years, he picked up the drums, saxophone, and piano. He’s currently teaching himself to play the guitar, taking his work to greater depth and complexity. His dynamic blend of Hip-Hop, Rap, and Pop/Crossover is an eclectic take on music. Trained to read notes and play scales, he listens with a different ear than some artists, allowing him to create unique melodies and identify potential instruments to lay over rhythmic beats.

Dedicated persistence and silky vocals, B3E weaves a wonder of sound
At age 18, singer, Evan Bendel, wanted to give up. A few years later, in his early twenties, he questioned himself again. By the third try, he knew he had it. Using his last initial and the magic number 3, he created the artist name, B3E, and elevated his music career to new heights. The third time is a charm, and B3E is making this one count.
B3E lets the vibe of a song guide him in style. His creation process includes freestyling, absorbing the beat, and feeling out the right vocal tones. In the song, “For You,” a track dedicated to his mother, B3E uses smooth vocals paired with an acoustic guitar. Refusing to stick to one genre, B3E experiments, incorporating variety from pop, R&B, and soul. His songs feature steady basslines and uplifting melodies.
“The whole thing has been a blast,” B3E says. “I look forward to the future."
